President Mattarella visits the United States from October 15 to 20

The President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella will visit the United States of America from October 15-20, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Luigi Di Maio and the Minister for Technological Innovation and Digitalization Paola Pisano.

The first official meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16 in Washington DC, where President Mattarella will be welcomed at the White House by US President Donald Trump. The two Heads of State will meet in the Oval Office.

In the evening, a reception in honor of President Mattarella in the presence of the Italian-American Community.

Thrusday, October 17, President Mattarella will be on Capitol Hill, seat of the US Congress, to meet the leadership of the Italian American Congressional Delegation and the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi.

The President of the Italian Republic will then travel to San Francisco where, Friday, October 18 , he will visit startup companies Kong and Nozomi Networks.

President Mattarella will then travel to Stanford University to participate in the Italy-US Innovation Forum.

In the afternoon, he will meet with the Mayor of San Francisco, London Breed, and the Italian community.

On Saturday, October 19, before leaving for Italy, the President of the Italian Republic will meet the Governor of California, Gavin Newsom.
