Italy & USA

Italy and USA

The bilateral relations between Italy and the United States have deep historical roots. Today, they are grounded in a vast and capillary network of relationships not only between institutions, but also between local governments, civil societies, production systems, academic, cultural and scientific organizations, and the citizens of both countries. These relations also rely on a complex set of agreements in effect. They can be consulted in Italian on the database “ATRIO”.

These pages offer an outline of this thriving and evolving framework of relationships, and especially how and what the Italian Embassy and the consular network do, day in and day out, to further consolidate the great friendship between Italy and the U.S.
