Effective May 18, 2015,
applications for acquiring Citizenship through marriage, pursuant to
Art. 5 of Law 91/1992 must be submitted following a new procedure. Those who have already scheduled an
appointment for submitting the applications according to the previous procedure, will, in any case, be accepted by the Citizenship Office on the
date and time already scheduled until 31 July 2015.
Effective
1 August 2015, however, only the new procedure will be in effect. Those who already had appointments scheduled
after that date will be contacted directly and will receive individualized
instruction
