Notice is hereby given that the Consulate General of Italy in Philadelphia intends to appoint a new Honorary Consul in Baltimore who will be called upon to carry out primarily functions of assistance in favor of Italian citizens and protection of Italian interests in the territory of competence.

It is necessary for applicants to have a good command of the Italian language and to be resident in the territory of the relevant constituency.
ATTENTION. The assignment to perform Honorary Consular duties does NOT constitute a civil service relationship nor an employment relationship with the Consulate General of Italy in Philadelphia or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, but rather a voluntary service relationship for the performance of honorary duties in favor of the state that represent a very high service to the Italian community.
