The Consulate General of Italy in Philadelphia provides its services to residents of the following States / Counties:

Pennsylvania (all Counties)

Delaware (all Counties)

North Carolina (all Counties)

West Virginia (all Counties)

Maryland (except the Counties of Prince George and Montgomery)

Virginia (except the Counties of Fairfax and Arlington)

New Jersey (only Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May,

Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean and Salem Counties)


Proof of residence in the jurisdiction of the Italian Consulate in Philadelphia is required.

Valid IDs are: Driver license, Student ID, Electric or Phone bill.

There are four Honorary Consulates overseen by the Consulate General of Italy in Philadelphia.  These Honorary Consulates are managed by private citizens serving to aid the community along with the Consulate General, as well as offering some administrative services.

There are also some Consular Correspondents directly overseen by the Consulate General of Italy in Philadelphia and serving the italian residents in the area of jurisdiction.
