Italian minors under the age of 14, traveling without a parent or guardian, must have a travel authorization issued by the Consular Office within the jurisdiction of their residence. This authorization will be issued upon presentation of the application (please see attached form) by the parent or guardian who will indicate the name of the person (or persons), Society or Airline Company, to whom the children will be entrusted during the journey. The above application must be signed by the children’s parents or guardians, in the presence of a consular officer. The application as well as the authorization are valid for one trip with departure and return within a six month period (with the exceptions of particular circumstances such as medical care, studies, etc).
