Thursdays – This appointment is for applicants who already have at least one parent who is an Italian citizen, holding an Italian passport. Please provide full name of the parent, date and place of birth of the parent and, according to his residence, Italian Consulate of registration or if living in Italy, township. If the parent is not a registered Italian citizen, with up to date AIRE and vital records registrations, you should make an appointment for citizenship by descent on Tuesdays, even if you are first generation.

Considering the massive number of applicants, the system is often fully booked and it does not show any availability. Perseverance is the only key to obtaining an appointment.

Please note that “Prenot@mi” is free of charge. Whoever makes appointments on behalf of others charging a fee must be reported to this Consulate General and legal actions will be taken against him/her.
